Since the #Dodgers pay for the best players, manager Dave Roberts gets bypassed for manager of the year. In fact he only won it after his first season as Dodger manager in 2016. Before that season he managed one game for the 2015 Padres.
Roberts put on a managerial clinic in the 2025 MLB playoffs but fans rarely talk about his timely and smart moves because the Dodger players are so amazing. It all gets lost behind Betts, Ohtani, Freeman, Smith, Yamamoto, Glasnow, Snell, and now Edwin Diaz and Kyle Tucker. Gordon says this should be Roberts' second MOY season.
