We're a father and son who love to talk and argue about baseball! Baseball is the professional sport that has the longest history so there is a lot to talk about! We launched Almost Cooperstown noting that baseball contains a long history of players that, for whatever reasons, have been shunned by the electors of the Hall of Fame. Consequently here are many 'Almost' players still waiting their turn for induction. With less than 1.4% of the now more than 23,000 players in the HOF, we feel there should be more players included. What Shohei Ohtani is doing this season is amazing. Just making it to the Major Leagues is incredibly difficult. How about changing positions from being a position every day player to a pitcher? Or a pitcher needing to become a position player in order to stay in the big leagues? Players like the Cardinal’s Rick Ankiel come to mind but there are plenty of other MLB players who've adapted on the fly in order to remain at the highest level of baseball.

We also talk about the Olympics again for some reason.
